On the morning of August 27, 2024, Janaka Nanda Kumara's Borella office was officially opened near Borella Junction. The event saw the participation of prominent figures including Hon. Ranjith Madduma Bandara, Hon. Tissa Attanayake, Hon. Harsha de Silva, Hon. Mujibur Rahuman, Hon. Nalin Bandara, as well as former mayors, councilors, and a large group of supporters.
